"The Teacher Education Laboratory at PSCE was located in the large area under the chapel in Virginia Hall which had been renovated and redecorated. There was space for practice teaching, extensive display areas, and a variety of audio-visual equipment, including television and recording equipment. It offered teaching skills institutes and other training events not only for resident students and faculty in the Richmond Theological Center, but also for church professionals and others who returned to the campus for short-term courses designed to aid their personal growth as effective teachers" (Louise McComb, "The First 70 Years," pp 91).
