Josephine Newbury Demonstration Kindergarten

In 1963 the Virginia State Department of Certification of the Department of Education had a study of the courses at PSCE, the student teaching program and the Demonstration Kindergarten curriculum for four and five-year-olds.  It accredited all offerings in kindergarten for Virginia teaching certification by PSCE students and public school teachers wishing to renew or complete their teacher certification  (The First 70 Years, Louise McComb, pp 57).
